Full Service

This is our popular “handholding service” whereby you will be assigned a local specialist compliance consultant who ensures that you meet all the relevant requirements of the FSA regulations. You will receive regular visits to your offices and are able to contact your consultant by email or telephone with any queries. In addition you will receive regular compliance publications (emailed) including Stop Press, Hot TopICS and TCF News. All documentation is prepared in consultation with you and is bespoke to your operations.

Consultations (½ day-1 day)

There are a number of specific areas of compliance that are worrying clients and ICS can provide an experienced Associate to visit the client's offices and discuss one or a number of issues as required by the client.

Topics can include but not are not limited to:

ICS Compliance Audit

An external independent review carried out in the clients' offices. This is a detailed review of all compliant practices and procedures including a check on a sample number of actual client files, a full review of all complaints, a sample check of staff T & C folders, a review of all other documented procedures with comment on the standards achieved and appropriateness.

 

ICS Compliance Healthcheck

This is an overview, carried out in the client's offices, of the client's procedures, documentation, records, systems and controls (but without the detailed audit of the individual client files and staff T & C folders carried out as part of the Compliance Review)

 

ICS Compliance MOT 

Useing the latest technology and applying the FSA's own approach to regulatory risks, this service takes a half day in your offices and provides you with a traffic light report on your current compliance situation with a prioritised list of areas to be addressed.

 

ICS Compliance Manual & installation

A one day installation and set up in the client's offices of the ICS Compliance manual including all relevant template documentation and procedures.

 

ICS Helpline and News service

This provides clients with the ability to email and telephone an experienced Compliance Associate to discuss and resolve their specific compliance issues. This would also entitle the client to receive copies of our regular emailed publications: Stop press, Hot TopICS & TCF News

 

 ICS FSA Application Service

Assistance with completion of the Application for FSA Authorisation and advice on the attachments required as part of the application process.   The Compliance Manual, policies and procedures can be provided as part of our Compliance Manual installation service above.

 

Peer Review

How does the MD of the business ensure/evidence that they are competent? This review would be carried out by an experienced ICS ex-Broking MD who will spend a day with the client going through a programmed discussion/assessment to enable the MD to evidence their competence and benefit from the input of an independent expert.

 

Strategic Review

Our team of Associates comprises a wealth of experience in terms of professional Marketing, Sales, Underwriting, General Management, Accounting & Finance, Claims and HR expertise. These skills can be used to provide a full strategic review of a client's business and regulatory business plan.

Complaints Advisory Service

Review of complaints and breaches procedure and/or we can act as a referral on any complaints to ensure they are dealt with in a compliant manner

 

Mystery shopping service

We can arrange for a series of phone calls to be made to the clients' offices and provide a report on compliance to FSA regulations and the clients required service standards (including a check and comment on the sales effectiveness).

Seminars & Training
